Introduction: Giant cell tumour of the bone (GCTB) is a benign, locally aggressive tumour whose neoplastic stromal cells express receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL) and activate its receptor RANK on osteoclast-like giant cells.
